Yoga was my impetus of transformation. Having grown up as a Rhythmic gymnast, I had a natural connection to physical movement which created an outlet for some personal challenges I faced in my youth. At some point after gymnastics left my everyday life, my true self became covered with layers and layers of darkness and untruths. One night I found myself in Karen Burnett’s vinyasa yoga class. Lying in savasana after that class, I knew I needed more of whatever this Yoga was. I began practicing every day. Yoga became more important than drinking which had numbed pain. I could fully feel again and with that came an awareness; an awareness that was not always easy to look at, but it was real. I believe that a daily practice will change your life in ways that you never imagined. In my class, I hope you will feel my love of guiding you through the magical quality that results when connecting breath to physical movement and posture. There is a vast space that lies within you…my greatest gift is helping students find their true selves within that space. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead you…Namaste!
