Q. Will my existing package or membership be honored?

A. All existing packages will be honored through December 30, 2019.

A. All existing memberships will be honored though their individual October expiration dates. Once the membership expires, members are eligible to transition their membership to a Thrive Membership of their choice at a discounted rate for the months of October – December.

Q. Where is the studio located?

A. Thrive is located approximately 6 minutes from Power Yoga Tribe. From PYT, head west on Northlake Blvd. Head north on Alternate 1A. Take a left (west) on Burns Rd. Make the first available u-turn on Burns Road and then take a right on Ironwood Rd. The studio is just down Ironwood on the right side of the road.

Q. Will I need to create a new account online to sign into classes?

A. No. We will create your account for you and add your package or membership to to it. We ask for your patience as we work to add PYT students to our system. You will need to stop by the front desk to sign an electronic waiver if you have not been to our studio before. Once we have created your account, you can download our free App and link your account to register for classes.

Q. Can I just come in to take class or do I need to pre-register?

A. You can just come in. As we work to add PYT members to our system, we will have a list at the front desk so you can attend class even if you haven’t been added to our electronic system yet.

Q. How do I download the App?

A. The studio has a free App, available for download via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. We recommend registering for classes via the App once you have linked your account.

Q. What does the App do?

A. The App allows you to register for classes and workshops, access app-exclusive promotions and manage your account. It also allows you to receive push notifications that keep you connected to any need-to-know info. During the months of October and November download the free Thrive Power Yoga Palm Beach App to access a special app-exclusive sale to receive a discount on transitioning to a Thrive Membership or package. Memberships and packages bought during the sale can be formatted to start debiting upon completion of the package.

Q. What types of memberships and packages do you offer?

A. We offer a variety of options to ensure a wide-range of choices. See Pricing & Memberships for more information.

Q. Why are all the classes warm or hot?

A. It’s a principal focus of Thrive to ensure we are providing a safe and healing yoga practice for our students. Practicing yoga in a warm or hot environment is self-protective for the joints, muscles and ligaments. It also increases flexibility and aids in body detoxification. Not all classes are hot. Warm Vinyasa 60/75 is practiced in an 85-90 degree room. Hot Vinyasa 60/75/90 is practiced in a room heated to 95 degrees.

Q. Is there childcare?

A. Yes! The 9:30am classes Monday-Friday feature available childcare.

Director Karen Burnett, E-RYT500, brings with her a long history of group fitness instruction, over 22 years in the yoga industry, and a focus on honoring the lineage, tradition and history of Yoga.
 
Director Jill Romano, E-RYT500, brings a fresh perspective on how Yoga integrates into your life with practical concepts to promote a balanced life on and beyond your mat.
 
Together, with the studio manager, Katie Falconer, Karen and Jill lead an experienced and friendly staff ready to guide you in this beautiful practice.

Class Descriptions

Warm Vinyasa 60/75

This warm class is taught in 60 and 75-minute formats in an 85-90 degree room. The 60 minute class is suitable for ALL-LEVELS. The 75-minute format is recommended for those with previous yoga or fitness experience. Practitioners are clearly guided through foundational yoga postures focused on opening and strengthening different areas of the body. Expect an increased focus on alignment, as well as the opportunity to explore the progression of your yoga practice.

Hot Vinyasa 60/75/90

This hot class is taught in 60, 75 and 90-minute formats in a room heated to 95 degrees. The 60-minute format is suitable for ALL-LEVELS. The 75 & 90-minute formats are recommended for those with previous yoga or fitness experience. Practitioners will be guided through foundational yoga postures with options to deepen and advance. Expect to be given the opportunity to explore the progression of your yoga practice.

Raja 60

This hot 60-minute class is suitable for ALL-LEVELS. Practitioners are clearly guided through long, meditative holds to open, strengthen, and heal the deep connective tissues of the body, focusing on the areas of the hips, shoulders and low back. This Anuttara-style (Supreme) Raja yoga takes the study of Yin Yoga to another level providing practices that systematically access the use of electromagnetic energy and gravity to create ease and freedom in the body, resulting in physical and mental balance.

Warm Yin 60/75

This warm 60 or 75-minute class is taught in an 85-90 degree room. Practitioners are guided through gentle seated and supine yoga postures designed to create openness deep within the connective tissues in a serene and supportive environment.

Prenatal Yoga

Wednesdays at 5:15pm. This unheated 60-minute class is suitable for all-levels and all trimesters. Practitioners are guided through gentle practice utilizing postures, breath work, and meditation to ease pregnancy, delivery and the after-effects of birth. Expect a class focused on strength, flexibility, and awareness to help you connect with the little light growing within. All prenatal students receive a gift card at their first session for a free pedicure at Glow Salon & Spa. Separate pricing for prenatal yoga applies. The series is currently sold out.

Kids Yoga (Ages 4-10)

Wednesdays at 3:45pm. In this unheated 50-minute class, young yogis learn yoga poses through high-energy music, stories, partner poses, games, and activities. Separate pricing for kids yoga applies.The 5-Class Series is $80 and can be prorated for mid-series start.

YTT Community Class

This warm 60-minute class is suitable for ALL-LEVELS. Practitioners are guided through foundational yoga postures focused on opening and strengthening different areas of the body. Expect a fun environment with instruction by recent yoga teacher training graduates. This class is free for members and is donation-based for non-members. $5 recommended donation.
