Yoga Teacher, RYT 200

Rachel started practicing yoga in 2009 in New York City, where she had a career in publishing before switching gears to becoming a health coach after graduating from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She began practicing more regularly, and with more dedication in 2014 after her second child was born. She had always been a gym junkie, but something about Vinyasa had a magnetic pull for her. She wanted to learn more about each posture and alignment and dive deeper into the connection she felt to her body through yoga.

After being inspired by the passion and knowledge the teachers at Thrive had, she decided to earn her 200-Hour Certification.

Yoga has helped guide her through challenging times and has encouraged her to find mental clarity through aligning breath with movement. She loves this beautiful, ancient practice and is so honored to share it with others. When she’s not in the studio teaching or practicing, she’s enjoying life with her husband, children, and dog.
