Yoga Teacher, RYT 200


Hi my name is Rachel! I started practicing yoga back in 2009 when I lived in New York City. There I had a career in publishing before switching gears to becoming a health coach after graduating from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I started practicing more regularly and with more dedication in 2014 after my second child was born. I had always been a gym junkie, but something about Vinyasa had a magnetic pull for me. I wanted to learn more about each posture and alignment and dive deeper into the connection I felt to my body through yoga.

I knew the timing was right to get my certification when I started practicing at Thrive. The passion and knowledge that the teachers had was what I craved.  Yoga has helped guide me through some challenging times and has encouraged me to find mental clarity through aligning my breath with movement. I love this beautiful and ancient practice and I’m so honored to share it with others. When I’m not in the studio teaching or practicing I’m enjoying life with my husband, children, and dog.
